Who this is

The Positive Path Coaching is the executive advisory and coaching practice of Pam Goldman, MA, based in San Diego, California and Las Vegas, Nevada, working virtually with clients across the United States and internationally. This policy explains what information is collected through thepositivepathcoaching.com, how it is used, and the choices you have.

What this policy covers

This policy covers information collected through this website, including the contact form and the booking scheduler. It does not cover the confidentiality of active coaching or advisory engagements, which is addressed separately in your client agreement.

Information collected

Information you provide. When you fill out the contact form, you provide your name, email address, the type of work you are interested in, and whatever you choose to write in your message. When you book a consultation or session through the scheduler, you provide your name, email address, and any details you enter about the appointment. When you email directly, that message and anything in it comes along with it.

You are never required to give more than you want to give. Anything you share beyond what a form asks for is voluntary.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, this one collects limited technical information when you visit: IP address, browser type and version, device type, the pages you view, how long you stay, and the site or search that referred you. This is standard traffic data collected by the website platform and is used to understand general site usage, not to identify you personally.

Cookies

This site uses cookies, which are small files stored by your browser. Some are necessary for the site to function and to keep it secure. Others support basic analytics about how visitors move through the site.

You can refuse or delete cookies through your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work as intended if you do. Visitors in regions that require a cookie consent notice will see one on arrival and can set their preference there.

How information is used

Information collected through this site is used to:

  • respond to inquiries and continue a conversation you started

  • schedule, confirm, and manage consultations and sessions

  • provide advisory and coaching services to clients

  • send administrative messages related to an engagement, such as scheduling changes or invoices

  • maintain the security of the site and understand general usage patterns

  • meet legal, tax, and recordkeeping obligations

Your information is not used to send marketing emails, and this site does not operate a mailing list or newsletter.

How information is shared

Your information is never sold, rented, or traded.

It is shared only in these situations:

Service providers. This practice relies on a small set of third party tools to operate. Each one receives only the information needed to do its job, and each maintains its own privacy policy:

  • Squarespace, which hosts this website and processes contact form submissions

  • Acuity Scheduling, which handles appointment booking and calendar management

  • Google, for email and calendar

  • Zoom, for virtual sessions

  • Zoho Invoice, for invoicing clients

Payments are handled directly between Pam Goldman and the client outside of this website. No payment card details are collected or stored through this site.

Legal requirements. Information may be disclosed if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or where disclosure is necessary to protect someone's safety or to establish or defend a legal claim.

How long information is kept

Inquiries that do not become engagements are kept for a reasonable period and then deleted. Client records, including scheduling and billing records, are retained for as long as the engagement continues and afterward for the period required by tax, legal, and professional recordkeeping obligations. You can ask for your information to be deleted at any time, and it will be deleted except where a law requires it to be kept.

Security

Reasonable measures are in place to protect the information collected through this site, including encrypted connections and reputable service providers with their own security standards. No method of transmitting or storing information online is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be promised. Please use judgment about what you include in an initial form or email before an engagement begins.

Your choices and rights

You may at any time:

  • ask what personal information is held about you

  • ask for a copy of it

  • ask for corrections

  • ask for it to be deleted, subject to the retention obligations above

  • withdraw consent for any optional use of your information

To make a request, email thepositivepathcoaching@gmail.com. You will receive a response within a reasonable time, and you will never be treated differently for making a request.

California residents. California law gives residents the right to know what personal information is collected, to request its deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. Personal information is not sold or shared for cross context behavioral advertising. Requests can be made at the email address above.

Visitors in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom. Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, the legal bases for processing are your consent, the performance of a contract with you, and legitimate interests in operating and securing the site. You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, and you may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Because this practice operates from the United States, information you submit will be processed there.

Children

This website and this practice are intended for adults. Personal information is not knowingly collected from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information through this site, please write to the email address above and it will be deleted.
